As a novice administrator and user of the elasticsearch system, the course was beneficial in demonstrating more advanced practices of managing and using elasticsearch. Options for important settings and using features that I initially thought were secondary and less important were demonstrated. The course demonstrated an alternative application for managing elasticsearch, which I did not know existed. The application clarifies and simplifies some user activities in elasticsearch.
